The Indian Air Force has released the notification for IAF Agniveer. Indian Force invites unmarried Male and Female candidates to join the Post of Agniveer Musicians for 4 years. The eligible candidate will go through the Rally process from 3 July 2024 to 12 July 2024. Candidates born between 02 Jan 2024 to 02 July 2024 are eligible for IAF Agniveer musician Recruitment. Age relaxation Extra as per IAF Agniveer  Advt. no.  01/2025 rules.

Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification for IAF Agniveer.

1. Educational Qualification
   1. Passed class 10th or equivalent with the minimum pass marks from any Govt. recognized school/board
2. Music Ability
   1. Candidates must have proficiency in music with accuracy in tempo, pitch and singing one complete song. They should be able to perform one preparatory tune and any of the notation i.e. Staff notation/ Tablature/ Tonic Solfa/ Hindustani/ Carnatic etc. Candidate must be able to tune individual instruments and match unknown notes on vocals or instruments.
   2. Candidate must have proficiency in Playing any one instrument from List A and List B

   3. The candidate should have proficiency in playing two instruments.
3. Musical Experience Certificate
   1. Grade 5 or equivalent or above in one instrument from a recognized music institute. OR
   2. Diploma or equivalent in the field of music for candidates performing Hindustani Or Carnatic classical music from any recognized university OR
   3. Certificate of participation/award presented at various events.

Selection Process

The selection  process for the IAF Agniveer Musician usually involves multiple stages as mentioned below:

2. Medical Test

   1. Height:
      • Male: 162 cms
      • Female: 152 cms
   2. Weight: Weight should be proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF Agniveer
   3. Chest:
      • Male: 77 cm and the chest expansion should be at least 05 cm
      • Female: The chest should be well proportioned and well developed with an expansion of 05 cm
   4. Hearing: Normal
   5. Dental: Healthy gums, a good set of teeth and a minimum of 14 dental points
   6. Visual standard: 6/12 for each eye
